Mind the Paper?

Paper or digital?

In our modern era, we are more and more faced with this decision - should we go "paper-less" or let's call it "fully digital".

Sounds familiar ? 😊

Either as a conscious thought process, idea, decision or even just a nagging spark somewhere in the back of the mind, I would assume that many of us share this dilemma.

Enjoy your life-long growth as the internal barriers are being crushed and replaced with **newly found feeling of , resilience, success and power (almost!).

Think of the potential...

Think only of the potential of how/what we can do with our digital files, notes, drawings, voice memos, photos....

How we can easily keep, share, use & re-use, enjoy, print, transcribe them, make our digital knowledge bank, ideaverse, digital garden, you name it ...

Think of how we can improve and grow, enrich our life and thought processes by implementing digital PKM solutions (many of them residing on timeless analogue models!) in order to cater our knowledge and interests.

Knowing all this, why then I have a need to create certain content still as a paper version ? :)

Well, I 'll tell you why...

While digital is my integral and to-go setup for almost all important matters in life, I have discovered more than a handful of times that my adoption of certain information is not at the level I expect. While it might be partly because English is not my native language, I have been able to mitigate a big chunk of the adoption topic, by simply introducing a new step into the process - actually the initial one!

Таa, da, daaa, daaaa, ... trumpets.... :)

Introducing - "Paper" :)

What I will do is, that for certain type if content, I will make a short write-up or sketch, just to remember the idea that arose in certain moment, and then (usually in the evening) I will get back to that note, think some more of the idea and than reflect it in the digital universe of my choice, by creating a spark note in the Obsidian.

Paper still has it's magic and it "rocks"! 👊
